The relationship between law and technology forms distinct areas for discussion and debate, but they are all intertwined and no discussion is complete without acknowledging the other. Technologies shape the future of the legal profession and any discussion on technology must involve acknowledgement and consideration of the legal framework in which it operates. The clear-cut division between law and technology has clearly faded away. Taken into account all these circumstances, VU Faculty of Law next year will launch new master programme called Technologies law (TechLaw). The programme in English will heavy focus on digital technologies.
