Five students will carry out a summer internship at the VU Law Faculty which starts on July 1st and ends on August 31st. During the internship, they will be working on their research papers. This internship is funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.
- Liepa Burneikaitė, a 3rd year law student at VU Law Faculty, will prepare a thesis on the topic „Legal Problems of Cryopreservation“. Supervisor – Assoc. Prof. Dr Justyna Levon.
- Anastasija Antonova, a 3rd year VU Institute of International Relations and Political Science (VU TSPMI) student, will prepare a thesis on the topic „AI as a Support Tool in Judicial Decision-Making: Challenges, Opportunities, and Regulatory Implications“. Supervisor – Lect. PhD Goda Strikaitė-Latušinskaja.
- Erikas Mečkovskis, a 2nd year law student at the VU Law Faculty, will prepare a thesis on the topic „Finding Balance Between Business Freedom and Environmental Protection“. Supervisor – Assoc. Prof. Dr Agnė Juškevičiūtė-Vilienė.
- Povilas Plikūnas, a 3rd year law student at the VU Law Faculty, will prepare a thesis on the topic „Challenges of resolving investment disputes in contemporary investment protection law“. Supervisor – Senior Lect. Dr Tadas Varapnickas.
- Agota Stankevičiūtė, a 2nd year law student at the VU Law Faculty, will prepare a thesis on the topic „Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court over international crimes committed in non-member states: possibilities and limits“. Supervisor – Senior Lect. Dr Gabija Grigaitė-Daugirdė.
