Celebrating its 15th Anniversary in 2026, LWOW is a unique global initiative that brings together law and business students with professionals to create solutions to challenges at the intersection of law, business, and technology. In 2026, LWOW will offer a 3-day, in-person Sprint—an agile, innovation, collaboration and transformation experience.
Sprint 2026 will take place 13–15 March hosted by NOVA School of Law and NOVA School of Business and Economics (SBE) on SBE’s seaside campus in Carcavelos, Portugal (30 minutes from Lisbon). Over three days, students apply design thinking and innovation methods in multidisciplinary teams to tackle urgent business-of-law problems.
In the 7 weeks leading up to Sprint, students will join virtual learning modules (14 January–25 February 2026) to prepare.
At Sprint 2026, students will work alongside professionals from leading organizations including Dentons, EY Law, HSBC, iManage, Lloyds Banking Group, Microsoft, Perkins Coie, Simmons & Simmons, White & Case, and more. It’s an exceptional opportunity to expand your network, strengthen your skills, and join a community passionate about innovation in law.
Applications open 17 September–3 November 2025, with notifications by 28 November 2025.
