The annual scientific publication “Spring of Legal Science 2025” is here

“Spring of Legal Science” is an annual collection of the best works of Vilnius University Faculty of Law students. The articles selected for the publication were evaluated by an authoritative commission, which first listened to the research presented by the authors themselves. Accuracy, the ability to clearly formulate a legal problem, reveal different ways of solving it, compare them and choose the most reasonable one – these are qualities necessary for every lawyer.

However, the value of the legal profession in society does not only arise from these abilities. A society lost in the flow of various ideologies, interests and information expects not only procedural justice, but also value-based justice. A humanistic approach to man, respect for personal freedoms, sensitivity to vulnerability and the ability to reconcile the interests of society and the individual – these are features without which a modern legal professional is simply unimaginable.

“I am pleased to congratulate you on the release of this new publication – another beautiful example of how Vilnius University Faculty of Law students are able to combine studies, science and creative thinking,” writes Prof. Dr. Vigita Vėbraitė, Vice-Dean for Studies at Vilnius University Faculty of Law.

This year’s “Spring of Legal Science” publication contains 21 scientific articles prepared by students.
