
The 13th International Conference of PhD Students and Young Researchers, organised by the International Network of Doctoral Studies in Law, “Predictability in Uncertainty: Legal Challenges of Navigating the Digital Industries” will take place on 14-15 May 2026 at Vilnius University Faculty of Law in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Continuing its mission to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and research excellence, the International Conference returns in 2026 with an expanded scope and a renewed ambition. This year’s Conference will open with a roundtable discussion “Legal and Regulatory Challenges in Digital Industries” bringing together legal and compliance professionals from Oxylabs.io, Vinted Pay, Nord Security, the European Compliance Professionals Association and Revolut to discuss the key regulatory, compliance and governance challenges shaping today’s digital economy.
By strengthening direct dialogue between academia and the digital industry, this year’s event will create new opportunities for PhD students, young researchers, legal scholars and industry professionals to engage with some of the most pressing legal questions arising in today’s rapidly evolving digital environment.
