Seminar Dedicated to the International Campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
On December 3rd a seminar dedicated to the international campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence was held at the VU Faculty of Law. The event was attended by representatives of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) as well as experts from Lithuania, Poland, and Italy:
- Sara Moreira, a seconded national expert in gender-based violence at European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), Kristina Gothardova and Ilaria Nilges, EIGE’s trainees, ‘Behind the Numbers: How Research Drives Action on Gender-Based Violence in the EU’;
- Prof. Magdalena Grzyb, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Faculty of Law and Administration, Department of Criminology, Poland
- Dr. Giulia Lausi, fellow of the European Commission Postdoctoral Fellowships ERA Programme MSCA PF – ERA under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions at the Vilnius University Faculty of Law,
- Dr Małgorzata Wenclik, the Branch of the University of Białystok in Vilnius, Vice-Dean of the Branch for Development and Internationalization.
