On the 25th of March VU Faculty of Law organizes international conference on technologies and law. Scholars and practitioners from all around the world will discuss challenges of artificial intelligence,  biotechnologies, data protection and cybersecurity and also Fintech.

This conference aims at discussing some of the most uncertain areas related to emerging technologies. We will raise unsettled challenges to ensure human rights while developing and using artificial intelligence, discuss key issues with regard to development of biotechnologies, consider the importance of data protection and cybersecurity and debate the relevance of adequate response of law-making authorities in the field of financial technologies. This Conference is also dedicated to commemorate 440th birthday of Vilnius University.
