Lectures “The litigation and appellate system in USA”

On the 5th –15th of November, 2018, an open lectures concerning the litigation and appellate system in the United States will be held at the Vilnius University Faculty of Law. The lectures will be delivered by a law professional with approximately 40 years of experience – Neil S. Tardiff, of counsel at Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar, San Luis Obispo, CA, USA.

The class will provide a general overview of the federal and state civil (private lawsuits between individuals and/or private companies), criminal (government prosecution of criminals) litigation and government agency administrative hearings and the appellate systems in the United States of America. The class will discuss how a criminal case, a private lawsuit and government agency decisions start in the judicial court systems and how they proceed through the appellate.

Registration to the lectures takes place until the 31st of October.
