About the School

European Law Summer School is an annual international project launched in 2004. The initiators of the project are Vilnius University Faculty of Law, University of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and the University of Paris Nanterre. Gathered all under the arches of Vilnius University, the oldest university in Eastern Europe, Lithuanian, German, and French law students and professors not only discuss Euro-integration issues but also get acquainted with Lithuanian history, visit most spectacular sites of architecture and nature. Lectures and seminars in the European Summer Law School are conducted in German and French.

All participants of the European Law Summer School receive certificates issued by the three higher education institutions. It is not an official diploma but lawyers regard it as a solid advantage and as a recommendation for employment.
