Before Statehood day of Lithuania Vilnius University Law Faculty received pleasant news that two scholars of the Faculty were given high State awards.
Lecturer of Private Law Department and Chairman of Competition Council Dr. Šarūnas Keserauskas was awarded by the President of Lithuania the Medal of the Order for Merits to Lithuania.
Professor of Criminal Justice Department and former Chairman of Criminal Division of Lithuanian Supreme Court Jonas Prapiestis will be awarded 1st degree award “For Merits to Lithuanian System of Courts”. It is first such award in history of Lithuanian courts system.
