Call for international researchers for MSCA postdoctoral fellowship

Faculty of Law invites motivated and ambitious international researchers to apply for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF), choosing the Faculty of Law as their host institution.

MSCA PF is one of the most prestigious European funding programmes for researchers holding a doctoral degree and seeking to advance their academic careers in an international environment. The programme provides an opportunity to implement an original research project, strengthen research competencies, expand international cooperation, and acquire new skills through interdisciplinary and intersectoral activities.

Research proposals may be submitted in the following areas:
• Constitutional law; Human rights; Environmental constitutionalism; Economic regulation
• International, Law, Policy, Justice, Sanctions
• International Security, Maritime Safety and Security, Global Legal Order, Critical State’s Infrastructure, Maritime Domain
• Business Corruption, Shadow Economy, Sustainable Development, Anti-corruption Policies, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence
• Gender-based Violence, Discrimination, Intimate Partner, Work with Perpetrator, Restorative Justice/ Mediation
• Legal Reasoning, Human Rights, Law and Technology, Judicial Decision Making, Disinformation
• Constitutionalism, Constitutional Comparative Law, Constitutional History, Theory of Constitutionalism
• Civil justice, Legal Aid, Mediation

Applying together with the Faculty of Law increases the competitiveness of the proposal and opens up additional funding opportunities. If a proposal is not funded under MSCA PF due to budget limitations, it is automatically considered under the ERA Fellowships scheme, providing an additional opportunity to secure funding.
In addition, Lithuania has allocated supplementary European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) resources to the Horizon Europe programme. As a result, the European Commission may fund a greater number of highly ranked MSCA PF proposals submitted in cooperation with Lithuanian institutions.
