VU Faculty of Law students are invited to apply to the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) 2019-2020 program. The program is looking to identify and support Law students studying or interested in social innovation and entrepreneurship who are using their skills to make a difference.
CGI U is a year-round program that provides students with the tools needed to develop social impact projects through a rigorous curriculum, high-touch mentorship, and a range of funding opportunities. Acceptance into CGI U also includes an invitation to a free three-day summit hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, to take place at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland from April 17-19, 2020. At this meeting, approximately 600 student leaders from around the world will come together to hear from a wide range of topic experts, leaders, and innovators to discuss how to turn their ideas into tangible action.
The deadline for students to apply is Monday, November 4, 2019.
