New scientific study on the convergence and divergence of legal forms of enterprises in Lithuania has been recently published. The book has been published to end in year 2015 launched national scientific project “Convergence and Divergence of Companies: Is the Lithuanian Company Law Attractive in the International Context?, which has been funded by the Lithuanian Research Council and performed by scholars of VU Faculty of Law. Prof. habil. dr. Valentinas Mikelėnas, assoc. prof. dr. Lina Mikalonienė, assoc. prof. dr. Paulius Miliauskas, PhD student Vilius Mitkevičius, also assoc. prof. dr. of Vytautas Magnus University Agnė Tikniūtė analyse vast variety of legal forms of enterprises that exist in Lithuania. The aim of the study is to compare the existing legal regulation in Lithuania with that in selected foreign countries in order to assess the current situation in Lithuania and make constructive suggestions for further improvements, including recommendations to the legislator. The scientific study has a large and detailed summary in English language.
