Conference “The 20th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania: The Past, the Present and Future Perspectives”

On October 24 2012, the conference “The 20th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania: The Past, the Present and Future Perspectives.” was held at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. The conference was one of the several events organized by the Student Representation of the Faculty of Law to commemorate the Constitution Day. The presentations were given by Prof. Dr. Egidijus Kūris, Prof. Dr. Juozas Žilys, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dainius Žalimas and others.

During the event, Vytenis Andriukaitis, the Member of the Seimas, has been awarded with the Constitutional Cup – the Personal Constitution – for the fostering of constitutional values and the development of application of the Constitution. Also, the annual nomination of the law firm “Motieka & Audzevičius” for the best first year student – Karolina Mickutė – was presented.
