Conference “Media law: problems of today and expectations”
On November 26, the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania hosted the conference “Media law: problems of today and expectations” organized by the Human Rights Committee of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania together with the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. During it, the Lawyer and Vilnius University Faculty of Law partnership professor Dr. Lawyer Liudvika Meškauskaitė presented the monograph “Media law – the right to inform the public: theoretical and practical aspects”. Contemporary challenges of media law, problems of implementation of freedom of speech, media responsibilities and duties in Lithuania were also discussed.
