In this lecture, Prof. David Schultz (Hamline University) will discuss the legal context of the upcoming US Presidential elections. This year’s elections are surrounded by more lawsuits than ever before involving potential candidates. Presidential elections are surrounded by decisions of the US and state supreme courts reflecting or overturning candidates’ values. In this lecture, we will discuss the impact of court decisions and the context they create for the upcoming US presidential elections.
The lecture will be followed by a discussion moderated by Associate Professor Donatas Murauskas (Vilnius University, Faculty of Law).
The lecture will be held in English without translation.
