The Faculty of Law of Vilnius University and the Faculty of Law of Paris Nanterre University, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of France in Lithuania, implemented the French Law School programme in 2014-2015.

The programme is aimed at 3rd – 4th year law students who wish to pursue doctoral studies in Lithuania and France, it is also useful for lower and upper year law students, students of legal translation, young lawyers and legal researchers and practitioners who wish to improve their competences and deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge of the law of the French Republic and the European Union.

The programme consisted of 8 intensive courses on French and European Union law, i.e. the main subjects of French and European Union public and private law, and special seminars on the methodology of preparation for doctoral studies. The training was held in French at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University.
