Current Public Law Topics in Comparative Perspective: Europe and the United States

Current Public Law Topics in Comparative Perspective: Europe and the United States – the joint course of the University of North Carolina and Vilnius University Law Faculty, aimed to develop understanding of the core democratic and rule of law elements in comparative perspective. The course unites students from different cultural background, to discuss challenging topics such as judiciary in Europe and the United States, freedom of speech, the right to abortions, restrictions on migration and others. The course is part of the University of North Carolina program Collaborative Online International Learning.

The course is led by Prof. Charles Szypszak (the University of North Carolina School of Government) and Assist. Prof. Donatas Murauskas (Vilnius University Law Faculty). The assistant of the course is Bradley Downs (the University of North Carolina).
