On Ukraine’s Independence Day, the publication of the VU Law Faculty scholars “Challenges and opportunities in Law. Ukrainian Case under the conditions of War”. The idea of writing such a publication was conceived after the outbreak of the war and after the gathering of scholars from different Ukrainian universities at the Ukrainian Law Centre of the VU Law Faculty.
The articles published deal with legal problems and challenges in various fields, from criminal law to human rights protection and private law, etc. This monograph explores the problems of Ukrainian law in wartime and reveals how law dynamically interacts with the reality of war, becoming resilient and changing.
The book is published by the internationally renowned „Księgarnia akademicka publishing. Edited by Prof. Dr. Tomas Davulis and Dr. Ligita Gasparėnienė.
