On 8 September, the law firm Ellex Valiunas in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Alumni of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University are organizing the legal forum “Future of the Legal Profession”.
Over the span of 25 years since the restoration of Independence of Lithuania, some progressive solutions have materially changed the entire system of legal services or provided an impetus to changing for others. Therefore, Ellex Valiunas is seeking that the trip of progress became part of the practice for the entire community of Lithuanian lawyers. We are open to share our experience and present the insights into future prospects of internationally recognized lawyers.
The forum will hold discussions on how the work and roles of future lawyers will change, what management models will be applied to law firms and how the increasing requirements of clients will be exceeded. The event will provide a unique opportunity to meet leading law practitioners, general counsels and scholars from all over the world in Lithuania, adopt their practices and establish contacts.
In the legal forum presentations will be delivered by Martin Šolc, president of the International Bar Association (IBA), partner of the law firm Kocián Šolc Balaštík (Prague, Czech); Michaela Angonius, Vice President, Head of Group Regulatory and Privacy at Telia Company; Vygaudas Ušackas, EU Ambassador to Russia; prof. Tomas Davulis, dean of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University; and Rolandas Valiūnas, managing partner of Ellex Valiunas.
