First year students got acquainted with the work ethics and principles of behavior of judges

How the judge should talk with participants in the case? What kind of behaviour is not pattern? Today first year students if VU Law Faculty got to know about work ethics and behavioral principles of judges.

Lecture was organised by assist. prof. dr. Elena Masnevaitė and students prepared performances related to difficult situations and violations in judges work and its ethics and behavioral principles.

Judges participated in lecture as well, they shared their experience and commented on problems depicted in performances: Mindaugas Povilanskas (Judge of Vilnius District Court), Sigita Jokimaitė (Judge of the Supreme Court of Lithuania and chairperson of the Ethics and Discipline Commission of Judges), Rūta Poniškaitytė-Liatukė (Judge of Vilnius City District Court), Artūras Drigotas (Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania).
