International experts positively assessed Master’s degree programs at Vilnius University Faculty of Law

AUTHOR: VU TF

In May 2016, the Faculty of Law was visited by an international panel of experts who reviewed the Master’s programmes “Criminal Justice” and “Public Law” available since 2012. The group of external study programme assessment consisted of persons having experience in higher education management, social partners, students, and other academics. Applications were evaluated by analysing various areas of the programmes – objectives and learning outcomes, the programme structure, personnel, material resources, course of studies and evaluation, and programme management. Both programmes have received very high evaluations (“Criminal Justice” – 22 points out of 24, “Public Law” – 21 point out of 24 points) and subsequently, by the order of 30 September of Study Quality Evaluation Centre Director, they were accredited for a maximum period of 6 years, which means that they can continue to be successfully offered to students.
