Yesterday Minister of Justice, Evelina Dobrowolska awarded persons, who have been working in institutions of justice field and making efforts to defense, strentghen and nurture human rights. The awards named „For merits in the field of human rights – 2022“ are dedicated to commemoration of International Human Rights Day.
Part of the awards were given to members of VU Law Faculty community. Prof. dr. Tomas Davulis, at Private Law Department in VU Law Faculty, was awarded for his input to work and social security, laws of equal rights, provisions of science conclusions to Parlament. The award for active defense of human rights was given to lawyer Miglė Petkevičienė, member of VU Law Faculty Alumni Association. As well was awarded notary Rasa Vidžienė.
