Programme „International and European Union Law” was evaluated positively and scored high points by international experts

On the 3rd of November 2017 international experts group visited VU Faculty of Law and evaluated Master’s degree programme „International and European Union Law”. External evaluation group consisted of persons with experience in management higher education institutions, social partner and representative of students. The study programme was evaluated by analysing different areas of the programme – purpose and learning outcomes of the study programme, curriculum design, academic staff, material resources, study process and assessment and study programme management. The programme was evaluated with high points (20 points from 24). Teaching staff and facilities and teaching resources were given maximum possible points.

Experts stressed that the Master’s programme is in a great extent self-designed and the curriculum offers a number of courses to choose and student has a possibility to his or her individual profile within the main subject of the programme in the choice of optional courses.

Pursuant the conclusions of the external evaluation the Master’s degree programme „International and European Union Law” has received accreditation for the next six years.
