Conference “Company Law: The Status Quo, Challenges and Perspectives”

On 28th of November 2014, a scientific-practical conference about current theoretical and practical challenges, perspectives of the development of the company law were discussed by legal scholars and practitioners.

The conference was opened by Prof. Dr. (HP) Vytautas Mizaras, head of the Private Law Department at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. The Faculty members participated in the conference and gave their presentations – Prof. Dr. V. Mikelėnas, Dr. L. Mikalonienė, Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Smaliukas, lector G. Bartkus,  Dr. V. Nikitinas. Also Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Tikniūtė, from Vytautas Magnus University, M. Stračkaitis, President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, A. Railaitė, Director of Company Law and Insolvency Policy Department at the Ministry of Economy and A. Survila, the representative of the State Enterprise Center of Registers participated in the conference.
