Conference “The Decade of the Labour Code: Contemporary Challenges of the National Labour Law”

On 22nd of March 2013, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania held a scientific conference “The Decade of the Labour Code: Contemporary Challenges of the National Labour Law”. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University together with the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Labour Law and Social Security Society. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania also contributed to the organization of the event.

The conference was organized to commemorate the 10th anniversary of coming into force of the Labour Code of the Republic of Lithuania. During the conference, the goals of the Labor Code in the society of the 21st century, the problems of its application, aspects of the implementation and defense of labour rights were analysed
