Conference-discussion “Recent trends in Company Law: European Company Model Act (EMCA) in Lithuanian context”

On 26 November 2015, Vilnius University Law Faculty hosted a conference-discussion “Recent trends in Corporate Law: European Company Model Act (EMCA) in Lithuanian context”. The event was organized by the Department of Private Law of VU Law Faculty.

The conference was held to present the initiatives of the EMCA promoters group, consisting of well-known European corporate law experts, summarizing the most advanced European experience in corporate law. The debate included the discussion about the benefits of the Model Act to Lithuania.

The EMCA project was presented and discussed in depth by corporate law experts, among which there was a national representative of EMCA promoters group. The event also attended by the representatives from legislative bodies, law scientists and practitioners.
