Discussion “Mediation in Lithuania: Are We on the Right Track?”
In order to discuss the role of mediation in resolving civil disputes in Lithuania and the Law on Mediation of the Republic of Lithuania, which will enter into force in 2019, the Civil Procedure and Roman Law Research Center of the Faculty of Law of VU on 30th of November 2017 organized the discussion “Mediation in Lithuania: are we on the right track?”.

- Judge of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, court mediator Andžej Maciejevski;
- Chairman of the Mediation Expert Working Group (CEPEJ-GT-MED) of the Justice Efficiency Commission of the Council of Europe, VU TF Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rimantas Simaitis.
The discussion was moderated by Artūras Driukas, judge of the Lithuanian Court of Appeal, chairman of the Judicial Mediation Commission.
