Interdisciplinary discussion “War refugees in European welfare states: do we have anything to learn from?”

In cooperation with the French Embassy in Lithuania, the French Law Center of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, in the context of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, continues the series of events aimed at discussing topical issues and strengthening academic and scientific university cooperation. The third interdisciplinary discussion: “War refugees in European welfare states: do we have something to learn from?” was held on 29th of April 2022.

Invited guests of the discussion – scientists and experts in related fields: Professor of Practice A. Bitinas, Assoc. Prof. Dr. I. Isokaitė-Valužė, Prof. Dr. V. Kasiulevičius, Mr. Jacques Onnen. The discussion was led by Dr. Gintarė Tamašauskaitė-Janickė, Head of the French Law Center of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University.
