VU Faculty of Law Student Scientific Society (SSS) final conference

On 31st of March, 2021 the traditional final conference of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) of the Faculty of Law of VU was held. The event was held remotely for the second year in a row. A total of 13 student teams submitted their articles to the competition and the commission consisting of VU Faculty of Law researchers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haroldas Šinkūnas, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rimantas Simaitis, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juozas Galginaitis, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vigita Vėbraitė and dr. Justyna Levon, selected six teams that presented their research during the conference.

First place was won by Andra Mažrimaitė and Vytautas Pasvenskas with the report “Restrictions during pandemic: justified but is it lawful?”

The second place was won by Akvilė Medvedevaitė and Gabrielė Velta Mickevičiūtė with the report “Digital data: is new legal regulation necessary?”.

This year even two third places were assigned. They were won by: Gabija Panomariovaitė and Justina Zokaitė (Cyberstalking: features of victimization and possibilities of legal response) and Arnas Malakauskas and Raminta Matulytė (Possibilities and perspectives of remote judicial work in Lithuania).
